RISK OF BURNOUT SYNDROME IN NURSES IN INTERNAL MEDICINE DEPARTMENTS

Background: Burnout syndrome is often associated with long-term exposure of workers to demanding situations, excessive workload and lack of rest. Objective: The aim of the research was to analyze the association between the risk of burnout in nurses and selected determinants. Methods: Information was obtained using the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire, which was distributed electronically (65 %) and in paper form (35 %).
