This article discusses the state of breast cancer screening in the Czech Republic and other European countries. We base our discussion on the need for continuous education of women in breast self-care, but above all their participation in the screening program. The aim of the study is to map the current occupancy of the screening program in the endangered group of women and to find out what breast cancer screening options are currently available in the Czech Republic. Incontinence means a serious problem for a person, whether he is living in a family or in a home for the elderly. We were interested in the issue of retirement home residents with incontinence from a social perspective. Perfect comfort includes quality nursing care, dignified environment and loving treatment. DENTAL HYGIENE – BRANCH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN

Dental hygiene is a discipline with over a hundred years of history. At the turn of the millennium, this concept was only known to a handful of patients and professionals in the Czech Republic. Many people are not aware of the fact that dental hygiene is not a premium service for a selected group of patients, but an integral part of current stomatology. The present article provides an overview of historical milestones in the discipline of dental hygiene and a job description of the profession of dental hygienist as embedded in Czech legislation. Finally, perspectives of the dental hygiene discipline are discussed.
