Background: Patient satisfaction with ambulatory care attributes can be one of the determinants conditioning the population's participation in prevention.

Objective: To find out what is the assessment of satisfaction with the quality of outpatient care provided by patients.

Methods: Anon-standardized questionnaire method was used. The survey was carried out in general practitioners' clinics for adults and in specialist clinics of various specializations in the Banska Bystrica self-governing region in 2022. A total of 103 respondents took part in the survey, regardless of age, gender, social status and diagnosis with which they came to the examination.

Results: The majority of respondents expressed satisfaction with the expertise and human approach of the doctor and nurse, with a greater degree of satisfaction expressed to the doctor compared to the nurse. The highest level of dissatisfaction among respondents was recorded with ordering an examination and waiting time for the examination itself, with the possibility of parking and orientation in the area of the medical facility. The patient's expression of satisfaction with the expertise, interest and approach of health workers is not related to his gender p>α (0.05). Likewise, the expression of patients' satisfaction with the operation of the clinic p>α (0.05). A significant result was found in the case of the connection between the age of the respondents and the evaluation of the clinic's operation. Younger patients had greater demands on running and operating the ambulance, p-value<α (0.05).

Discussion and  conclusion:
Despite the longer wait for the examination date and the examination itself, the majority of respondents are satisfied with the expertise, interest in the patient and the humane approach of healthcare workers in ambulatory care. Younger patients have significantly higher demands on the operation of the clinic and its functioning.
