Background: In 2017, 524,142 foreigners except recognized refugees were registered in the Czech Republic. Injuries caused by a patient’s fall are serious complications that prolong in-patient treatment. The aim of the paper was to find out the occurrence of injuries caused by falls and related factors in patients at a large inpatient medical facility. We performed a quantitative data analysis on patients’ falls over a five-year period in one of the largest hospitals in the Czech Republic. Tooth decay is a multifactorial infectious disease. Infants and toddlers risk early childhood caries. Parents underestimate the preventive measures of caries. They do not know the serious consequences for their children. The main role of child dental care is played by parents. Parents create the right habits in children who take this to the next period of their lives. The aim of the paper is to summarize the principles of preventive and practical dental care in children under 3 years.
PATIENT WITH METASTATIC LIVER DISEASE IN COLORECTAL CANCER AFTER SUCCESSFUL ALPPS

This case report shows treatment of 51 years old male-patient with colorectal cancer with metastatic spread into liver. Liver tumors were unresectable by conventional surgical technics, so authors chose two stage resection-ALPPS. Despite of some troubles caused by lack of experiences with this method, treatment went in good way and the patient primarily diagnosted in stadium M1 had been alive for 5 years.

Background: Midwifery is a beautiful but stressful profession. In combination with negative factors, midwives may impair their subjective well-being and mental health. At the beginning of the last century, especially in Germany, the concept of racial policy, supported by the corresponding Nuremberg laws, developed. As a result of human losses on the battlefields of World War II, the so-called Lebensborn began to emerge, where children of purely Aryan lynx were born programmatically. Lebensborn was dotted almost all over Europe, including the Czech Republic. After the war, these children had great mental and social problems.
